It's 2015, and I'm back!
Wow, it's been a long while since I have blogged on here, hasn't it? Last night, I wrote a long post for my lifestyle blog, iheartyoucoffee, so if you are so inclined I would love for you to head on over there and have a read! I give a nice long update on where I've been and my thoughts on my blogs at the moment, but to make a long story short, I am back.
I miss blogging, a lot. I love videos, and I think videos will always been my "main" passion, but there is something about blogging that is so different from videos, in a good way. If you have read the other post than you will know this already but I have one New Years Resolution and that is to blog more, and to be more organized with my main 4 online outlets.
In that post I touch on the idea of combining my blogs, and after sleeping on it I really think I want to keep it separate. I understand why it would be better to combine them, but at the same time I want the content to be more streamlined and curated on each blog. I personally don't enjoy reading blogs that are all over the place, so I want my two blogs to reflect a specific kind of vibe.
I have so many ideas for posts, and since I am still on bed-rest this is the perfect time to bank some content! I would love for this post to be the main "requests" section for blog posts you would like to see on either blog. Please leave me as many comments as you like!
xx

Welcome back Elle! So excited for you to be blogging again, I've really missed reading your posts. I'd love to see some make-up and skincare reviews (especially skincare), they are my favourites to read :) x

I always enjoyed your old allthatglitters blog and I'm glad you feel well enough to write again. I liked your early Tumblr posts too, where you took to dreaming on the page about how an image made you feel - that's something I do a lot in my work as an author and it would be lovely if you brought the whimsical element to your new blogs. Love the pink frosty picture on this post - it's just the kind of thing I am drawn to myself. Healing blessings x
ReplyDeleteI love you Elle, wishing you the best for 2015! I would love to read posts about your top picks or all time favorites, like your top 5 foundations/blushes/lipsticks/eyeshadows. Maybe like a little series of posts? Also I love when you post about skincare, I trust you so much with all the products you recommend, I always love them! Thank you Elle for being awesome and so trustworthy with you recommendations, I really hope your back has a fast and full recovery! xx
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Elle! I loved reading your beauty and fashion blogs! I can't wait to ready your future posts!

Welcome back to blogging!! I always loved reading them! I would love posts about your current favorites for makeup. I also loved any of you ins and outs types of posts. You could also talk about candles! I have been so obsessed with candles! And because you now have a stash in your bedroom thanks to past Elle, you could talk about those! I would be perfectly fine with anything that you write about though! Love you Elle!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Elle!!! Look forward to reading your blogs! Take care! Xxx

Glad you are back! Wishing you a fast recovery!
ReplyDeleteCould you do a starters guide to getting interested in your apperance. A lot of my friends have made the transition from being a tomboy to starting to work on makeup and their hair. But it really is hard to find a starting point. If you have any tips, I think it would be really helpful and inspiring to a lot of your new readers
ReplyDeleteThe key is to keep it simple....start slow with a light powder to even out your skintone, neutral gloss and mascara and after you get used to that you move on to the other stuff like foundation (which I still only wear for special events) blush, experimenting with eyeshadows and bolder lip colors.

ReplyDeleteWelcome back!
ReplyDeleteI can hardly imagine how to handle blogging and making videos would work out, so juggling all 4 is a major resolution. Good luck on it. If you succeed (of course you will), do a blogpost on your time management, please!
