National Splurge Day!

Did you know that today is national splurge day? Today is all about throwing caution to the wind and buying something nice for yourself, just because. I put together a little boutique for you guys to browse through with some of my favorite fashion, beauty, and home decor items! You can click through by clicking on any image below. All of the things here I either already own or are on my wish list! Even if you don't want to buy yourself something, you can "splurge" on a best friend, sister, parent, or loved one! Enjoy!

P.S. If you want me to do more of these "personal shopping boutiques" let me know - I can do them monthly possibly :)

Let me know in a comment if you did anything to celebrate today!

  7. I would love you to post this kind of things again! I have been considering for a while now to buy the georgina bedding from Anthropologie but it is really expensive and I am afraid it may be a little too delicate to handle daily use, do you think I should give it a try?

  11. Sweet post, Elle! I'd love to splurge, too, but I should probably hold back. I had some knee surgery this morning and the medication I've been put on makes me a little loopy. I don't trust myself with my wallet right now! :) But that hedgehog measuring cup set is SO CUTE.

  31. This post is an excellent idea, except that it takes up so much room and is kind of annoying to scroll through to get to the next post on your blog. Is there a "read more" feature that you could use like on tumblr?

  32. I really want to try the Dior Creme de Rose lip balm. I have been thinking about purchasing it ever since you mentioned it in a couple of your videos. It just looks so luxurious, and I really think my lips need a product like this. Thanks for the suggestions Elle! Love this type of post!

  33. I love this post, Elle!! And I am loving your new blog!!

  37. Nope, I didn't celebrate. I work at ULTA and was going to buy some stuff even before I saw this post, but we had a little flooding incident so I didn't want to ask one of the managers to stop what they were doing and check me out. I did order Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer online though, so I guess I kinda did celebrate.

  43. Haha I loved this post! I have been working really hard at my new job and as soon as I saw this I thought "Oh yes, it is time to splurge and treat myself!" For the longest time I have wanted the pink stripe pajama set from Victoria's Secret, and I decided to splurge on it! I wanted the pattern with the large pink and white stripe, but wasn't seeing it as an option online, so I called customer service and she said there was one left in my size! It was meant to be! She told me that often when they get down to only a few items left, they take it off the website, so always call just in case! Then later that evening I went to Victoria's Secret in the mall and got some delicious body products :) So glad I took the time to read your post, it made for some great purchases and a great day!

  48. You should definitely make more of thse posts! :) i've followed you on YouTube, now I'm following your blog... What can I say? You have taste, style, and all that Jazz. And cash to indulge on stuff that you can later on talk about, which is great for us who seek opinions before purchasing!
My birthday was on the day prior to that Splurge Day! Funny. Well, I did "splurge"a few days later, as a belated self-prezzie (ordered Real Techniques brushes, since mine are really old ones from The Body Shop, second-handed by my sister - only spent 35$ but that was all i could afford) . Now I don't feel so bad about it. :p
Also, I'd love to see a home décor blog from you. I adore DIY's and organization ideas, and just overall checking out ideas from other people, even if i can't make them come tru for myself. XD
